T-Mobile was a mobile network service provider in the UK that is owned by Deutsche Telekom since 1999 and was first introduced as Mercury One2One. In 2009, Deutsche Telekom and Orange SA broadcasted that the T-Mobile network was to be united with Orange UK in a joint venture, EE Limited to establish the bets and largest UK mobile network. EE pursued to provide services under the T-Mobile brand until the February 2015, when these were taken out in agreement of EE plans.
T-Mobile Broadband is now EE Mobile Broadband providing ultrafast speeds of up to 80MB on the move and 2-in-1 on movie tickets.

As of February 2, 2015, EE will no longer be selling Orange and T-Mobile packages in their direct channels. Either you can upgrade you subscription on EE, or if you like, you can stay with your existing contract.

Can I upgrade my phone or tariff?

One of the simplest ways to see if you qualify for an upgrade is to text ‘UP’ to 150, and you will receive an automated reply telling you whether or not you are able to upgrade your phone. If the answer is no then don’t despair as you may still be able to upgrade early by going into the store, getting in touch over the phone, and negotiating an upgrade on your phone. Some of the newest models available for upgrade include the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone. You may be able to unlock your T-Mobile phone.
