Interact runs a magazine called Interact Magazine. This magazine is written and designed by students and young people of all faiths. This project allows young people to write and express their views, and also offers real and valuable experience in journalism.
- gives a forum to young people who want to learn about other cultures
- gives an opportunity to young people from all faith and cultural groups to express their views about their identity, their relationship to other groups, cultural, political, local, social and environmental concerns
- allows all young people to share their views and experiences of living in a multicultural society
- delivers articles about fashion, music, media, technology, food and all parts of the life-style of a young person living in British society
- is an opportunity for leading members of faith communities, scholars and famous people to share their views and experiences about living in a multi-faith, multi-cultural society
- increase awareness of other faiths and cultures
- facilitate the dissemination of information of active interfaith or intercultural community projects and their successes
- help faith groups forge links among themselves and to other groups, helping to illustrate the social family in which we all live
- represent an opportunity for young people who are perceived or perceive themselves as being from under-represented groups to represent themselves
- give these young people experience in journalism and the media
- ultimately introduce or strengthen in young people the responsibility granted by free speech, the benefits of tolerance and the importance and fairness of the democratic process
